|Chicken stock||4 cup|
|Pearl barley||½ cup|
|Garlic powder||¼ tsp|
|Heavy cream||1 tbsp|
|Salt||1 tsp (or to taste)|

Pumpkin Soup Recipe
Wash the pearl barley a couple of times until it is dust-free. Then fill a suitable bowl with water, add the barley, and let them soak for an hour.
Cut the pumpkin into slices and scrape the seeds out. Add the pumpkin into a suitable pot with two cups of water, put the pot on medium heat, and let the pumpkin simmer to become tender. After the pumpkin is cooked, peel its skin off and mash it with a handheld blender or a food processor to turn it into a puree.
Then, pour the pureed pumpkin with the chicken stock, soaked barley, and garlic powder into a large and suitable pot.
