Cheesy Potato Recipe

Step 1

Scrub the potatoes, remove their eyes, and peel them. Slice the potato lengthwise and put it in a suitable pot. Pour two cups of water and put it on the heat for 15 minutes until the potatoes are half cooked.

Then drain the potatoes and place them in ice water for 10 minutes to remove the excess starch from the potatoes. Then place the potatoes on a clean towel to dab off the excess water.

Put a suitable pan on the heat and add some oil. Add the potatoes to the pan and fry them. After frying, place the potatoes on a rack so they can drain. You can also bake them in the oven to avoid frying.

Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit for 10 minutes.
