Sausage Salad Recipe
Wash and scrub the potatoes. Then put the potatoes and a generous pinch of salt in a pot filled with two cups of water, place it on high heat and bring it to a boil. Potatoes are ready when they are fork tender.
Now score their peel and take their peel off easily. Then chop them into bite-sized chunks and put them in a large mixing bowl.
Now cut the sausage into relatively thin slices, about one centimeter thick. Put a pan coated with oil on heat and cook the sausage for 3 to 4 minutes until they are cooked and have some color. You do not need to cook the sausage until dark and crispy. Then add them to the bowl containing potatoes.
Chop the scallion and pickled cucumbers finely and add them to the bowl. The main ingredients of this salad are these four, but you can add carrots, canned peas, walnuts, or feta cheese according to your taste.
To prepare the salad dressing, in a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise with lemon juice, mustard, olive oil, and some salt, black pepper, and thyme until they are well combined. You can also add dried oregano or minced garlic to the dressing.
Pour the sauce over the salad ingredients and gently stir the salad with a spoon to toss through, and the ingredients get coated with the sauce.
Then cover the salad bowl with a plastic film and put it in the refrigerator for two hours to cool down. Chilling the mixture will marinate the salad ingredients and infuse them with flavor.
After two hours, take the salad out of the refrigerator, transfer it to desired dishes, and garnish it with chopped parsley and pepper flakes. Note that this salad is so heavy, so you do not need to make plenty for each person. We hope you try this salad and enjoy it.
