|Chicken fillet||800 g|
|Lavash Bread||6 (or as required)|
|Salt||1 tsp (or to taste)|
|Sumac||½ tsp (or to taste)|
|Black pepper||½ tsp (or to taste)|
|Curry||½ tsp (or to taste)|
|Chili powder||½ tsp (or to taste)|
Chicken Tantuni Recipe
Chop the chicken fillets into small pieces. Then put a suitable pan on the heat and pour some oil into it. Once the oil is hot, add the chopped chicken and fry them well while stirring in the pan until its juice is evaporated.
Add curry, salt, black pepper, chili powder, and sumac, and fry for another minute until the aroma of spices is released.
Add a cup of water to the pan and put the lid on. Bring the water to a boil and let the chicken meat cook thoroughly. You should let half amount of water evaporate.
Meanwhile, peel and wash the onion, and cut it into thin slices. Then put it in a suitable bowl.
Next, wash the tomatoes, and divide them into two equal parts. Cut each half of the tomato into thin slices, and add them to the onion.
Next, rinse the parsley, and put it in a colander to drain the excess water. Then transfer the parsley to your kitchen board and finely chop it. Add chopped parsley to the bowl containing the vegetables and mix them.
When the chicken meat is thoroughly cooked, place the Lavash bread in the pan, so it is coated with the chicken meat oil. Then transfer the bread to your work surface and pile some of the chicken meat on the bread.
Spread a layer of the mixture of onion, tomato, and parsley on the chicken and wrap it. It will get an envelope shape. Then roll and tighten it until you hit the end. That is it! Serve this delicious tantuni with your desired sauce and pair it with a cold drink. Enjoy your meal!
