Turkish Grilled Chicken Recipe
Peel and wash one of the onions, cut it into slices, and put them in a large mixing bowl.
Add high-fat yogurt, tomato paste, lemon juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika powder, coriander seed powder, cumin powder, ground black pepper, and salt to the bowl. Mix the ingredients well until they are completely uniform.
Wash and clean the chicken breasts, take their skin off, and chop them in a cubic manner into 5 centimeters chunks.
Add the chopped chicken to the marinade and massage the chicken fillet with your hand to coat each piece with the sauce.
Now cover the mix with plastic wrap and set it in the fridge for two hours. Chilling the mixture will marinate the chicken and infuse it with amazing flavor.
Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit degree.
Cut the bell peppers and the remaining onions evenly and with the same size to fit between each piece of chicken.
Now take the chicken fillets out of the fridge. Thread a piece of bell pepper to each skewer. Next, skewer a piece of chicken, bell pepper, and onion. Continue in the same way until it reaches your desired size.
Now grease the oven tray and put the kebab skewers on the tray. Next, cover the tray with aluminum foil and make some holes in the foil by poking a knife or fork. Place the tray in the preheated oven.
After 15 minutes, take the tray out and remove the foil. You can spread the meat juice with a spoon on the chicken and put some tomatoes in the oven tray. Then put the tray back into the oven and roast the chicken until golden.
You can also grill them outdoors on the heat of the lit coal or indoors in your pan. There you have it. Serve Turkish grilled chicken with rice or bread, and enjoy.
