Shrimp Sandwich Recipe

Step 1

Peel and devein the shrimp. For this, cut a shallow incision from the top of the shrimp to the tail and separate its shell. Then lift out the vein in the shrimp and discard them. Finally, rinse the shrimp, pat it dry, and place it in a bowl.

Step 2

Peel and wash the onion and garlic and chop them finely. Add the chopped garlic and onion with salt, black pepper, and fish seasoning to the shrimp and mix them well with your hands to marinate the shrimp.

Cover the bowl with plastic film and refrigerate that for one to two hours to infuse the shrimp with flavors.

After two hours, put a pan on medium heat and add a tablespoon of butter. Let it melt completely.

Wash and clean the bell peppers and remove the membranes from them. Then cut them into thin slices and add them to the bowl. Sauté them for about ten minutes until tender. Then remove them from the pan.

Add the remaining butter to the pan and let it melt. Then add the marinated shrimp to the pan and sauté them for about 5 to 7 minutes until they turn opaque pink or curl into a nice C shape.

Your sandwich ingredients are ready now. Slice the baguette lengthwise in half. You can also use each kind of bread that you like. Mix the mayonnaise, mustard, and lemon juice in a bowl and brush them on one side of the bread.
