Mayonnaise4 tbsp
Lemon juice1 tbsp

Turkish Chicken Salad Recipe

Step 1

Firstly, wash and take the chicken breast skin off. Put the chicken meat, peeled onion, salt, and ground black pepper into a suitable pot and fill it with one cup of water. Put the pot on heat and let the chicken simmer to cook through.

Step 2

After the chicken becomes cooked and softened, shred it by pulling it apart into small bite pieces or chop it in a cubic manner. Then add it to a container.

Step 3

Scrub the potatoes and the carrot and add them to a pot filled with 2 cups water. Let them simmer to fork tender.

Step 4

Now score the potatoes and take their peel easily. Chop the boiled potatoes, boiled carrot, pickled cucumbers, and bell peppers into small cubic pieces and add them to the chicken bowl. Add the drained canned peas and corn to the chicken.

Step 5

Add mayonnaise, lemon juice, dried dill, salt, and black pepper to a small mixing bowl and mix them well to form a uniform sauce. If you want to lower the calories of this salad, you can use yogurt instead of mayonnaise.

Step 6

Now spread the sauce on the salad ingredients and gently stir them to get mixed. Be careful not to break down the potatoes. Now your Turkish chicken salad is ready. Put it in the refrigerator and let it chill to serve. Prepare some Turkish salad like this and enjoy your time with your family.
