This food is a very popular item on the restaurant menu and is sold frozen for home use. Ingredients for four people
Boneless chicken breast400 g

All-purpose flour½ cup
Bread crumb½ cup
Mozzarella or Parmesan cheese100 g
Egg1-2
Salt1 tsp (or to taste)
Black pepper½ tsp (or to taste)
Garlic powder and onion powder1 tsp (or to taste)

Homemade Chicken Nuggets Recipe

Step 1

Cut the edges of the bread and toss the soft part in a bowl. Add two tablespoons of water to the bowl and knead it to form a dough out of the bread. You can use baguette or white bread for this. This step will make the nuggets more tender and softer.

Step 2

Cut the chicken meat into small pieces and add it to the bread. Next, add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder, and mix the ingredients with your hands. You can use a small grated onion if you do not have onion powder.

Step 3

Then add them into a food processor and blend them until they are completely pureed. If you do not have a food processor available, you can grind the ingredients twice until they are uniform. Next, add one tablespoon of flour along with the cheese to the nugget mixture, and mix it again to get uniform.

Step 4

Turn the nugget mixture into a bowl, cover it with plastic wrap, and refrigerate that for half an hour.

Step 5

Add egg, bread crumbs, and flour separately in three bowls. Whisk the egg well until thoroughly combined.

Step 6

Take a little bit of the nugget’s mixture, about the size of a small meatball, and shape it in your hands in a round or oval shape with one-centimeter thickness. If the nugget is too thick, the core will remain raw, and if it is too thin, it will dry out very quickly, so be careful with the thickness.

Step 7

Now sit the prepared nugget first into the flour, beaten egg, and finally in breadcrumbs until it is completely covered.

Step 8

Put a deep pan on the heat and pour enough oil to submerge the nuggets. Turn the heat high and let it reach 180 Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit.

Step 9

Carefully put the nuggets in the oil and slightly agitate that to get a golden brown on both sides. Once it gets crispy, put them on a paper towel to dab off the excess oil. Serve them with lettuce, tomato, and pickled cucumber. Enjoy your meal!
