Fried chicken is a famous food all over the world. This dish combines chicken meat, all-purpose flour, onion, yogurt, and spices.

Ingredients for four people
Chicken thigh or breast12 medium pieces
Greek yogurt1 cup
All-purpose flour3 cups
medium onion1
cold water2 cups
Garlic powder½ tsp
onion powder1 tsp
ginger powder½ tsp
Black pepper powder1 tsp
Salt3 tsp
Vegetable oil1 cup

Fried Chicken Instructions

Step 1

Peel and coarsely chop the onion, then add it to a large bowl with Greek yogurt, one teaspoon of salt, and black pepper powder.

Step 2

Mix the ingredients in the bowl well until they are uniform, then add the chicken pieces and mix for 2 minutes. Cover the bowl and refrigerate.

Step 3

After 6 hours, remove the bowl from the refrigerator. Pour the all-purpose flour with the rest of the salt, ginger powder, garlic powder, and onion powder into a large bowl and mix.

Step 4

Take the chicken pieces from the ingredients and put them in the flour bowl, then mix gently with your hands.

Step 5

after covering the chicken pieces with flour, pour them into cold water. Remove chicken pieces from the water without using your hands and pour them into the flour bowl.

Step 6

Repeat this several times to cover the chicken pieces completely with flour. Place a small deep pan on low heat and add vegetable oil.

Step 7

Wait for the oil to boil. Add the chicken pieces to the pan one by one and let them fry, then take them out of the pan and put them in a metal strainer to drain the oil.

Step 8

After frying all the chicken pieces, put them in the dish you want and serve with your favorite sauce.
