Today we will teach you a genius way to use leftover chicken. The chicken cake is so simple and soon will become your family favorite. This is an excellent idea for your dinner meals or after-school snacks.

Ingredients for four people
Large chicken breast1
Walnut½ cup
Parsley¾ cup
Mayonnaise½ cup
Mustard½ cup
Salt1 tsp
Ground black pepper1 tsp
Garlic powder1 tsp
Thyme1 tsp

Chicken Cake Recipe

Step 1

Wash the chicken meat. Place them in a pot filled with water, add a pinch of salt and bring the water to a boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer the chicken breast uncovered for 15 to 20 minutes.

Step 2

After it becomes cooked and softened, remove the skin and any fat. Then shred your chicken with your hand by pulling it apart into small bite pieces. You can use two forks to keep your hands clean. It works best if the chicken is warm. Then add it to a container.

Step 3

Wash the parsley, pickles, and walnuts, then chop them finely. Add chopped parsley, pickles, walnuts, black pepper, garlic powder, salt, thyme, mayonnaise, and mustard to the chicken. Mayonnaise adds moisture and great flavor, so do not miss it, but if you are on a diet, you can use yogurt and a tablespoon of lemon juice instead.

Step 4

Stir the ingredients until it is well combined and all the chicken is coated in the batter.

Step 5

Cut the edges of the bread and put a layer of them in a suitable container. Then divide the chicken mixture into two or four parts and fill the bread. Then add another layer of bread and repeat this process to the end.

Step 6

Cover the last layer with the rest of the ingredients and spread the ingredients uniformly on the cake with a spatula or knife.

Step 7

Cover the mixture with plastic wrap and refrigerate that for 2 hours. Chilling the mixture will marinate the chicken and infuse it with amazing flavor. Once your cake is cooled, you can garnish it with breadcrumbs, canned corn, or grated carrots. It is like a soft and delicious cake. Be sure to try it. Bon Appetit!
