Corn Salad Recipe
Today we are going to make corn salad, which is a perfect side dish for anything grilled. This is a nutritious and colorful salad, and you can easily make it ahead of time.
Ingredients for four people | |
Canned corn | 1 cup |
cucumber | 1 |
small lettuce | ½ |
Chive | 4 |
Parsley | 50 g |
Large potato | 1 |
Yogurt | ¾ cup |
Mayonnaise | 1 tbsp |
Lemon juice | 2 tbsp |
Salt | 2 tsp |
Ground Black pepper | 1 tsp |
Garlic powder | 1 tsp |
Corn Salad Recipe
Step 1
Wash lettuce leaves and parsley. Put them in a colander to drain the excess water.

Chop lettuce and parsley and transfer them into a bowl.
Step 3
Wash cucumber and chives, then chop them in medium size. You can chop the chives in smaller sizes. Then mix all the ingredients.

Drain the canned corn, add it to the bowl, and stir well until the ingredients are combined and uniform.

For dressing the salad, pour yogurt into a small bowl, add mayonnaise and mix them well for two minutes. You can eliminate the mayonnaise at this step if you are on a diet and add yogurt instead.

Add salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and lemon juice, and mix well until the ingredients are combined and uniform. You can use fresh chopped garlic if you want.

Scrub potatoes well and remove any eyes and peel them. Then grate them. Put a pan on the heat and add two tablespoons of oil. Then sauté the potato in oil over medium heat.

Once golden, place the fried potatoes on a towel to remove the excess oil. Finally, top the salad with fried potatoes and serve. Try this salad for your family and friends and enjoy.
