Indonesian salad is one of the most famous salads in Indonesia. This salad combines white cabbage, red cabbage, corn, peas, ham, carrots, and Pickled cucumbers.

Ingredients for four people
White cabbage250 g
Red cabbage250 g
Canned corn1 cup
Canned peas1 cup
Medium carrots1
chicken lunch meat200 g
Pickled cucumbers100 g
mayonnaise sauce2 tbsp
salt1 tsp
black pepper1 tsp

Indonesian Salad Instructions

Step 1

Cut the white and red cabbage into thin slices. Cut the Pickled cucumbers into thin pieces like cabbage.

Step 2

Cut the chicken lunch meat into thin slices and add it to the bowl with Pickled cucumbers.

Step 3

Pour the canned peas and corn into a colander to drain, then add to the bowl.

Step 4

To make the salad dressing, combine the salt, black pepper, and mayonnaise, then add to the bowl and mix well.

Step 5

Peel and grate Carrot, and add it to the salad. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for an hour until the salad is ready.
