Harireh Badam Recipe
Step 1
Soak almonds in cold filtered water and let them sit for about 3 to 5 hours. Once your almond soaked, they will absorb some of that water and get plump.
Step 2
Drain out the soaking liquid. Then peel the almond and grind them finely.
Step 3
Wash cucumber and chives, then chop them in medium size. You can chop the chives in smaller sizes. Then mix all the ingredients.
Step 4
Pour a cup of cold water into a suitable pan and get the almond powder into the water. Note that for every cup of almonds, you need four cups of water.
Step 5
Add sugar, rice flour, and butter to the pan. Now stir until everything is integrated and you have eliminated the clumps.
Step 6
Put the pot on low heat and let it cook to get thick. After about 10 minutes, when the mixture reaches a suitable thickness, turn off the heat and let it sit for some minutes to cool down.
Step 7
Put a pot on low heat and pour the milk into it. Let the milk boil. Turn the heat off immediately after you see bubbles that indicate it’s boiling, then remove it from the pan and set it aside.
Step 8
Add the rice flour mixture to the milk and stir until the ingredients are combined and uniform.
Step 9
Put the mixture of milk and rice flour on heat and let it reach the thickness of yogurt. Then, pass the almond porridge through a strainer until it becomes smooth and uniform. You can skip this part if you like the almond pulp under your teeth. Finally, you will get frothy and creamy porridge. Pour it into your desired dish and serve. Enjoy your meal.
