Roasted Potatoes Recipe
Scrub potatoes well, remove any eyes, and peel their skin off. Chop them into your desired size. In order to have a more beautiful roasted potato, we recommend you cut them into large chunks.
Place the potato chunks in a pot filled with water, add a pinch of salt, and bring the water to a boil. Then reduce the heat and simmer the potatoes for 10 minutes or until they are half-cooked.
Then remove the potatoes from the pot and rinse them with cold water. Strain them in a colander to drain the excess water. Be sure to dry them so they roast instead of steam!
Toss the potatoes in a large mixing bowl, add some oil, and shake or stir the potatoes with your hand to get coated with the oil.
Mix the salt, black pepper, paprika, and red pepper, and toss the potatoes with the spices. Then transfer the potatoes to a baking tray and spread them evenly into one layer.
Preheat the oven to 180 Celsius or 350 Fahrenheit degree.
Put the potatoes in the oven for about 30 minutes until they are golden brown and roasted. Then take the potatoes out of the oven, sprinkle parmesan cheese on them, and put them in the oven for another 5 minutes until the cheese melts. Finally, remove the potatoes from the tray, toss with parsley or mint, season to taste, and serve hot. Enjoy your meal!
